Caprice also revealed how, when growing up, she wanted to be Governor of California when younger but the appeal of making money from modelling pulled her in that direction.
She said: ‘Beauty pageants opened up a lot of doors for me, I wouldn’t have started modelling otherwise. I was scouted at one and I was told I could make a lot of money modelling….I said holy smokes, let’s do it’.
‘But I actually wanted to be the Governor of California growing up. I had those aspirations. But I saw the modelling opportunity and I was sold (she laughs). No more dreams of being Governor of California for me.
‘Regarding the beauty pageants I needed, we needed to nail those questions to win. But we knew ALL of the questions beforehand and it was all a load of b*****ks to be fair.
‘That is what launched me into this opportunity though. I couldn’t afford to go to Uni. I luckily won a pageant and the scout was there, and boom my modelling career was launched’.
