However, the prospect of playing Champions League football and sampling life in a different country will also appeal to Pulisic, who joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £57.6million in 2019.
The 23-year-old has spoken about his frustration at the lack of starts he has received under Tuchel and has been played in a number of positions. He has been eager to get a run of games so that he can enjoy his football again and hit form ahead of the World Cup.
Tuchel is re-shaping his attack having already sold Timo Werner back to Red Bull Leipzig and loaned Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.

Newcastle want a striker and a winger. They have been rebuffed in an attempt to sign Joao Pedro from Watford and are considering options such as Goncalo Ramos of Benfica and Stuttgart’s Sasa Kalajdzic for centre forward.
They have also seen offers for Leicester’s James Maddison dismissed but know Pulisic can offer them versatility across the front line and behind the striker.
