Ex-UFC star Mike Perry eyes Jake Paul after bare knuckle brawl vs Michael ‘Venom’ Page
Bare knuckle boxing ace ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry admitted he would like to take on ex-YouTube star Jake Paul after he is done with Mike ‘Venom’ Page.
The former UFC ace takes on the British kickboxer at BKFC London this Saturday at Wembley Arena, in what is the UK’s first bare knuckle boxing prize-fight in 155 years. As of this moment, all of Perry’s attention is on Page and he certainly went out of his way to ensure everybody was aware of this.
Paul’s boxing record remains at 7-0, after he cancelled his bout against Hasim Rahman Jr for allegedly failing to make the stipulated weight of 205 lbs. And when Paul’s name arose, Perry’s eyes lit up when talking about the possibility of one day facing ‘the Problem Child’.

“I’m going to knock out Page and [there was] that fighter [who] missed out on his opportunity to fight Jake Paul,” Perry said in an exclusive interview with Daily Star Sport. “People are tagging me.
“I’m excited to fight Michael Venom Page, I won’t mess up that opportunity, because Michael Venom Page is a well known fighter. He is a world champion and has a lot more accolades than Jake Paul does, as far as the sport of combat goes.
“But, a money fight or a very popular fight would be me vs Jake Paul.” Perry has previously sparred with the former Disney star to help him prepare for one of his earlier bouts against Tyron Woodley.

Perry has also claimed Paul wanted to spar with him again, but his cash offer was around £40,000 short of what he wanted. But no matter the funds, Perry very clearly stated that the next time he walks into a ring with Paul, he wants it to be a classic boxing match.
“I’m not as big, but I could put some size on and lift some more weights,” Perry added. “I can do a few fast runs and then I am skinny.
“I would still go and fight Jake Paul. I went and sparred him at 180 pounds and he was probably 195 or bigger. It’s no big deal to me or anybody.”
