Woman reveals how failing to use sunscreen on her new lip filler caused extreme and painful swelling
A woman has gone viral with a video showing how her lip filler swelled dramatically during a sun-soaked holiday in Spain.
Isabella Skeel, from Copenhagen, jetted off to Marbella for a holiday with friends but ended up in hospital after her lips grew painfully swollen.
The TikTok user believes the reaction was caused by sun exposure and urged followers to use SPF lip balm on their lips if they had fillers.

Experts recommend avoiding intense sun exposure, like sunbeds or sunbathing, for two weeks after lip filler as a precaution to avoid swelling. They also advise using SPF lip balm as part of regular sun care.
It is not known when Isabella had her lips injected. It is possible the reaction was caused by something other than sun exposure.
Isabella’s video, which has garnered 1 million views, shows her lips beginning to look inflamed and then the significant swelling she experienced.
Over the images, the caption reads: ‘Girls use sunscreen if you have lip fillers. Vacation in Spain ruined.’
