Asda customer left in stitches after bizarre substitution for pregnancy test

A shopper at Asda was in for a surprise after ordering a pregnancy test from Asda.

Morgan posted on TikTok that she had ordered the test, but had instead received a hilarious substitution which left her in hysterics, Birmingham Live reports.

In a video she commented “some replacement that was”, adding that despite the clear good intentions of Asda, it might have been a bit too late for the replacement to make any difference, BirminghamLive reports.

This was because instead of the pregnancy test she had ordered, she instead received a packet of condoms in an optimistic gesture.

Luckily Morgan and her viewers saw the funny side, with one remarking that staff had probably been laughing as they made the substitution.

She said: “When the pregnancy tests you ordered were out of stock so Asda sends you a replacement. The replacement was condoms.

“I mean it might be too late for that, but I guess I’ll never know now – thanks Asda.” In the comments, one shopper said: “Bet they was laughing to themselves when they did it.”

“That employee knew what they were doing,” another added.

“Well if you think that’s bad I once ordered a chocolate cake and the replacement was a lemon,” another said.

It comes as one mum took to Tiktok to show her massive haul of Asda Just Essentials items all for under £50.

“I’ve been to Asda and done the budget shop everyone is going on about,” she said as she showed off her packed countertops, “I got all of this – honestly I couldn’t believe it – and it cost me £48.”

Other shoppers took to the comments to share their savings, with one saying: “Done mine this morning and swapped as much as I could for Asda essentials, saved £65 on the shop!”
