EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Has Sanditon cad Jack Fox tied the knot?
He plays incorrigible ladies’ man Sir Edward Denham in TV drama Sanditon, but, in real life, Jack Fox appears to have settled down.
This week, Jack, 36, son of actor James Fox, started referring to his fiancee, singer Eleanor Fletcher, 32, as ‘my wife’ on social media, prompting a flurry of congratulations from friends, which he’s been ‘liking’.
A spokesman for Fox, whose exes include Lily James and Samantha Barks, declines to confirm that he and Eleanor have got married.
They announced their engagement in July last year.

Urgent appeal to help find missing society artist Cookson
A desperate search has been launched for a society artist whose friends include pop singer Lily Allen and the families of top model Cara Delevingne and former Chancellor George Osborne.
Old Harrovian William Cookson, 45, has not been seen for three weeks, and his family and friends are increasingly worried about his welfare. His white Suzuki car was found abandoned in Mayfair at the start of this month, while phone and social media messages to him have gone unanswered.
‘I pray that he is found,’ Heather Bird (pictured with William below), the American ex-wife of property tycoon Robert Tchenguiz, tells me.
‘I met William at a fundraising event for elephants. William kindly donated one of his art pieces for the auction.’
Yesterday, members of his extended family started putting up hundreds of Missing posters in West London areas where he was regularly seen, including Notting Hill and Chelsea.

‘He is a talented artist, but deeply troubled,’ says another of his friends.
William, of Fulham, is the son of Richard and the late Patricia Cookson, who transformed the fortunes of a sleepy Greek backwater when they founded holiday lettings agency Corfu Villas.
They helped turn the north-east corner of the island, where Prince Philip was born, into a favoured holiday destination for the upper classes to such an extent that it became known as ‘Kensington-on-Sea’.
They rented holiday homes to stars including actor Jude Law, while the Duke of Cambridge learnt to water-ski while staying in a CV villa.
William’s talent as a portrait painter and abstract artist was apparent from an early age and he set up his own Chelsea studio, following just one term at the Byam Shaw School of Art.
It wasn’t long before he started attracting famous fans, with German film score composer Hans Zimmer known to be one, while chef Marco Pierre White’s estranged wife, Mati, is another.
Hosepipe bans could cause a stink for comic Rob Brydon, who’s revealed that he likes to take showers in the garden. ‘I find it’s very hard to get cold, cold water in the house because it’s going through the system,’ he explains.
‘It’s, at best, lukewarm. This thing I do now, just attach the hose to a shower head in the garden, so you get the cold water.’ Don’t try this at home: hosepipes can become a breeding ground for potentially harmful bacteria, including Legionella.
Spice girls fans are desperate for the group to be reunited, but their get-together may be a strictly private affair.
I can disclose that Geri Horner, aka Ginger Spice, is giving a party next month to celebrate her half century. And all four of her bandmates are expected to attend.
On the guest list is actor Richard E. Grant, who appeared in 1997 film Spice World.
‘Ginger Spice has invited me to her 50th birthday party,’ Grant confirms.
Mel C has been campaigning for a reunion and said last month that she would love them to play Glastonbury.
And Mel B said last year: ‘I’m always pushing to have a Spice Girls reunion.’
Sky star’s woodland wedding
Her marriage to the Queen’s grandson Peter Phillips collapsed in 2020 after 12 years, but Autumn Kelly has helped bring together another couple.
Sky News presenter Sarah-Jane Mee got married at the weekend to entrepreneur and business owner Ben Richardson after being introduced by their mutual friend Autumn.
The 44-year-old TV star exchanged vows with Richardson, 43, in a woodland-themed wedding in East Sussex. The couple have a two-year-old daughter, Rae.
