Rampaging ’50-strong gang’ of yobs storm McDonalds’ and jump over counter to steal food
Rampaging teenagers stormed into a McDonald’s restaurant and helped themselves to food and drink after jumping over the counter.
The gang of around 50 youths raided the fast-food giants’ Clumber Street branch in Nottingham on Sunday night (August 21) at 9pm.
Police reported that seven of the teenagers stole food from the kitchen while soft drinks were also grabbed by the mob, Nottinghamshire Live reports.

Footage of the incident has emerged on social media platforms, which police say was filmed by members of the group.
Around 20 members of the gang were said to have stayed in the restaurant and were threatening and abusive towards staff.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said the incident was “completely unacceptable”.
“We are treating this incident very seriously,” they said. “This is a commercial burglary as the group forced their way behind the counter of a business and stole food and soft drinks.”
Officers also said the same group were reportedly congregating outside another Nottingham branch of McDonald’s in Milton Street at around 10pm, but nothing was taken.
