Facebook hit by massive outage in Australia due to bizarre technical glitch

Millions of Australians have been hit by a bizarre technical glitch on Facebook which has plunged other social media sites into meltdown.

Users of the social media giant have reported widespread glitches on their Facebook news feed.

Downdetecter.com.au detected a massive spike in reports of the social media app from around 4pm Wednesday.

Facebook is yet to confirm any outage or issue with the website.

‘Is anyone else’s Facebook feed completely borked? Seeing everyone’s comments to other people and other pages. The tl is even more rubbish than it usually is,’ one man tweeted.
