Former Tottenham defender Serge Aurier set to become Nottingham Forest’s 19th signing this summer
Former Tottenham fullback Serge Aurier has undergone a medical at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday ahead of signing.
The 29-year old is a free agent and can cover at right back and left back.
Forest have been eager to bolster their options at full back following an injury to new signing Omar Richards.

Aurier is signing a one year contract with the option of a further year.
He spent last season at Villarreal but was mainly cover for his former Spurs teammate Juan Foyth.
Forest remain in the market for further defensive signings.
They had a bid rejected for Wolves centre back Willy Boly and want to take Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga on loan though he is keen on AC Milan.

They have asked about Spurs left back Sergio Reguilon too, as revealed by Sportsmail, but his injury has held up talks while he also has offers from the likes of Lazio.
During an extremely busy summer transfer window following their promotion to the Premier League, Forest have made no fewer than 17 permanent signings as well as bringing in Dean Henderson on loan from Manchester United.
Jesse Lingard, Morgan Gibbs-White, Emmanuel Dennis, Neco Williams, Omar Richards, Cheikhou Kouyate, Orel Mangala and Moussa Niakhate are among the players to have joined the club.
In addition, Taiwo Awoniyi, Giulian Biancone, Joel Thompson, Ryan Hammond, Wayne Hennessey, Brandon Aguilera, Harry Toffolo, Lewis O’Brien and Remo Freuler have also arrived.
