Emma Raducanu is left in tears during US Open practice as she appears to struggle with hand injury

Emma Raducanu appeared to be in some distress during practice ahead of her US Open Championship defence next week.

The 19-year-old, who was pictured with tape on her fingers again, took time out of practice at Flushing Meadows to share a tearful conversation with coach Dmitry Tursunov.

Raducanu crashed out of the Australian Open to Danka Kovinic in January due to ‘finger blisters’ and seems to be in some discomfort again ahead of her first round clash against Alize Cornet on Monday.
