Europa League group stage draw: Arsenal to face Ruud van Nistelrooy’s PSV as Man United get Sociedad
Erik ten Hag’s first taste of European football as Manchester United manager includes a trip to Sheriff Tiraspol, who beat Real Madrid away from home in the Champions League last season.
The Red Devils have been drawn in Group E alongside the Moldovan champions, Real Sociedad of Spain and Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia – who are managed by former Celtic boss Neil Lennon.
Arsenal will also meet a familiar face in the dugout. Their former nemesis Ruud van Nistelrooy is now in charge of PSV, who have been drawn in Group A alongside the Gunners, Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich.
