Ryan Giggs’ ex Stacey left ‘traumatised’ by masked robbers who stole £80k Range Rover

Ryan Giggs’ ex-wife Stacey was left shaken when three masked men stole her £80,000 Range Rover Sport, according to reports.

The mum-of-two noticed the thieves had driven off with the car around 1.30am on Thursday in Worsley, Manchester.

The Sun reports the incident took place at her home, where she lives with her two children.

A source told the publication: “It was so upsetting. Her kids were there.”

At home she was reportedly with Liberty, 19, and Zach, 15, the children who she shares with former Manchester United and Wales winger Giggs, 48.

A source said to The Sun “it was so upsetting” and the children were left “terrified”. They said: “It’s unthinkable for this to happen after everything Stacey has been through with Max. She called police straight away.” Stacey has recently split from The Wanted singer Max George.

The source added: “They were there all night trying to work out how the robbers accessed the property and her car. Thankfully they found it but the whole incident is terrifying.”

The jury in Giggs’ court case retired to consider their verdicts in the trial of the former Wales manager earlier this week.

The former player denies controlling and coercive behaviour as well as assaulting ex-girlfriend Kate Greville. He also denies assaulting her sister, Emma.

Judge Hilary Manley, presiding, told jurors it was “not a court of morals” and reminded them the self-confessed love cheat was not on trial for infidelity.

The jury were sent out on the 12th day of the trial, which is taking place at Manchester Crown Court.

Giggs has been accused of headbutting his former girlfriend during an argument.

Sir Alex Ferguson took the stand last week to give evidence as a defence witness. He told the jury: “To have a career as long as he had in a difficult position, in terms of energy, he fulfilled everything we ever wished for.

“We visited his house to try to convince him to come to Manchester United. Myself and my assistant Archie Knox.”
