Derek Chisora leaves Love Island girls in hysterics with Tommy Fury jibe

Derek Chisora left two Love Island girls in heaps of laughter after making a cheeky dig at Tommy Fury.

‘Del Boy’ was backstage after watching KSI’s return to the ring on Saturday where he defeated two men on the same night. Chisora reviewed potential next opponents for KSI – real name JJ Olatunji – for Boxing Social after the YouTuber called out several high profile influencers.

Among those names were Jake Paul and Tommy Fury – the brother of world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson. But while Chisora admitted he would like to see Tommy and KSI going head-to-head, he also appeared to mock the Love Island 2019 winner.

He said: “I’d like to see that, one hundred per-cent, let’s make that happen,” before adding: “What’s Tommy Fury done in the last two years? Nothing.”

Chisora then turned to Love Island 2022 contestants Paige Thorne and Antigoni Buxton, who were also backstage after attending the event.

The 38-year-old said: “Hey, they know Tommy Fury, these ladies here, one, two Love Island ladies, they’ve been on that Tommy Fury nonsense. I’m joking. They love Tommy Fury, not that one, she’s my wife no, no, no,” continued the Londoner as he pointed at his wife while the two bombshells giggled.

Chisora added: “KSI [will] smoke him. You know, Tommy Fury will not fight KSI because he knows if he loses to KSI the traveller community will never ever respect him and KSI will knock him out.”

It comes after KSI began his own card by knocking out rapper Swarmz with ease, before dismantling 2-6 professional boxer Luis Pineda with another stoppage three hours later. Meanwhile, Tommy Fury has had his two previous fights against Jake Paul cancelled with just a win over Daniel Bocianski sandwiched in between.
