Jade Goody’s son Bobby Brazier makes his EastEnders debut as he’s snapped in first scenes
Bobby Brazier is set to make his on-screen debut on EastEnders next week as character Freddie Slater.
And the actor, who is the son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier, 43, and the late Jade Goody, has been snapped hitting the show’s famous Albert Square for the first time.
The 19-year-old has teased an ’emotional storyline’ will play out on his arrival – as he portrays the now grown-up son of former character Little Mo Slater, returning over 15 years since he left with his mum.

In the scenes, Freddie is seen lurking around the market stalls before chatting with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) – who was previously married to his mother, Little Mo.
Entering with confidence, the teen will help himself to a roll from Stacey’s (Lacey Turner) stall after haggling with Billy for a hat.
And it doesn’t look as though his distant relative was happy with the behaviour, as the new character makes a run for it while others shout after him.

Teasing an emotional storyline for his character, Bobby has explained: ‘I’ve been thrown in at the deep end! It was a huge moment for me. I had an emotional scene where I came into the café and I was like, “I don’t want any b******t no more, stop lying to me.”
‘There was grief, there was anger, there was a lot of emotion, Freddie was overwhelmed,’ he recalled.
Freddie’s comeback comes 16 years after the character was last seen on screens as a two-year-old, being born after Little Mo, played by Kacey Ainsworth, was raped by her friend, Graham Foster.
She refused to abort the baby, leading to the break up of her marriage to then husband, Billy – and left Albert Square with Freddie to start a new life.

‘Everybody has been so beautiful to me and made settling in easier than I could’ve hoped. Stepping into the acting world has always been a vision of mine and doing that with EastEnders as a Slater is a blessing.
