Man Utd target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic provides ‘out of this world’ assist for Lazio
Manchester United target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic provided an assist classed ‘out of this world’ during Serie A’s midweek fixtures on Wednesday.
The big Serbian produced an incredible backheel flick to send Ciro Immobile through on goal. And the Italian talisman easily slotted the ball past the Udinese keeper – but it was Milinkovic-Savic who commanded all the plaudits for the assist.
And he’s showed United fans exactly what they’re missing as the Serbian star has spent another summer constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford. With hours remaining before the transfer window slams shut – a late move for the Serb looks unlikely.

One fan tweeted: “Milinkovic-Savic turning into a cheat code. This assist is on another level!”
“Good lord what an assist from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Backheel half volley through ball, no worries. The man is on another planet,” a second added. While a third tweeted: “Just screamed so loud at that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic assist I thought I woke my children!”

And a fourth joked: ” Manchester United midfielders would fall over if they tried the assist that Milinkovic-Savic just did.”
United were fired a warning from Lazio president Claudio Lotito in August over a potential move for the midfield star.
“Milinkovic for €50 million? At that amount, I don’t sell him, he is worth much more,” Lotito told Il Messagero. “Our market is thus complete and finished.
“Also, because Luis Alberto will also remain. I quickly kept all the promises I had made. All the reinforcements [manager Maurizio] Sarri wanted on the sheet have been taken.”
