Tattooed ‘demon’ with horns says he’s not a criminal and tells strangers to ‘chill out’
A self-described “demon” who has spent years making extreme changes to his appearance says strangers are too quick to judge him.
Mattia Muratori is addicted to tattoos and body modifications but said a consequence is the public thinking him, and others like him, are unfriendly.
He is originally from Italy but lives and works in London as a night supervisor at a bus garage.

And he has spoken with the Daily Star about how his unmissable aesthetic can result in damaging misconceptions.
The 27-year-old said: “People with body art or body modifications are no different from others who don’t have those things.
“Personally I don’t see the reason for offending or judging someone for what they love to do, especially if they are not interfering with anyone else’s life.
“Learn to accept and be kind and stop thinking that everyone who has tattoos is a criminal. A lot of folks seem to be stuck in the past.
“Open yourself to learn more about the story behind all this. No one says you must like it but at least you’ll have enough knowledge to stop criticising a group of people who do things that the majority of other people wouldn’t do.”
Mattia has tattooed eyeballs, pointed ears, a split tongue and five-inch devil horns in his head to reflect his fascination of demons.
And he insists that he is not a Satanist, despite having a Sigil of Lucifer inked to his forehead.
He got his first tattoo aged 18 and he was 25 when he began getting body modifications – including having a subdermal spider implant on his chest.
And his unique style can cause offence in public.
He explained: “It’s happened a bunch of times but the majority of those babbled stuff about religion and criticised me for the way I was looking.
“But once you throw them with the ‘do you think God will be happy to hear what you are saying to me right now?’ they all suddenly shut up and go away.
“It’s just egotistical people who think they know better than anyone but they are probably deluded in their life and they show their frustration to other people.
“And it seems that folks with tattoos or mods are the perfect targets for those frustrated ones.”
He believes the feedback get gets when out on the street are split 50/50 to those that are good and bad.
However, to him, the negative ones have “zero importance” and have no impact on him.
He opened up about his passion for demons last month, commenting: “It’s funny because I’ve heard a couple of times people whispering to each other saying ‘look it’s the London Demon, he comes around this place sometimes’.
“I’ve been interested and curious and demonology and curious looks and since I was a kid I always asked myself whether a person could achieve such a look.”
