Chelsea £13m wonderkid scores first goal and fans are stunned by ‘new Jack Grealish’
Chelsea splashed out nearly £13million on Cesar Casadei from Inter Milan and was roundly sent off on his debut.
However, he has made up for his red card after scoring the first goal of his Blues career at youth level in a 2-0 win over Everton in the Premier League 2. There are huge expectations on the 19-year-old’s shoulders after joining for an illustrious price tag.
But it was another player who caught the eye during the match – namely for looking just like Jack Grealish.

It was Leo Castledine’s surging run through the middle that released Omari Hutchinson on the flank. The former Arsenal starlet then drove the ball across the box as Casadei tucked it home from close range.
And fans were mystified that one Manchester City star had decided to turn up, with one saying: “What is my guy Grealish doing here?”
Another wrote with a fire emoji: “Jack grealish playing in chelsea development squad.”
A third posted: “No 10 looks like grealish with same style of play.”
This fan replied: “So Boehly sign Jack Grealish behind the scene and we don’t know?”
And another said: “I just saw JACK GREALISH!”
While new owner Todd Boehly has invested heavily in the senior squad this summer – with signings such as Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Wesley Fofana, there has also been plenty of action at youth level.
Academy chief Neil Bath was told he could identify what talents he liked and he pinpointed several including Carney Chukwuemeka, Zak Sturge, Hutchinson and Casadei. As part of the deal that Boehly agreed with Roman Abramovich over the sale, a lump sum was to be used to be invested in the youth set-up.
