Ukraine 0-0 Scotland: Steve Clarke’s side seal promotion to Pool A of the Nations League

Scotland dug deep to earn a 0-0 draw against Ukraine on Tuesday in Krakow to secure their promotion to Pool A of the Nations League.

Heading into the match, Scotland knew that they needed just a point to seal promotion, but they started nervously and were grateful to see Andriy Yarmolenko blast over from just six yards out with the goal at his mercy.

Ukraine piled on the pressure after the break, and Craig Gordon needed to produce a couple of sharp saves, but Scotland held firm to get the draw that they required.
