A woman has created a website that she describes as ‘Tripadvisor for exes,’ where women can leave reviews about their former partners – both bad and very, very bad.

Tracy Tegan, from the US, decided to set up the page after going through her own heart-wrenching breakup with a man who she claims had an affair, as well as stole rent money from her.

The site, dubbed Ex Boyfriend List, allows women to leave detailed reviews – and you can even search by name, should you want to look up a prospective beau before going on a date.

The aim of the page is to give women a space to vent about their feelings and deter any unfortunate souls who may be scheduling their next date with a serial womanizer.

Tracy Tegan, based in the US, has created website that she describes as ‘Tripadvisor for exes,’ where women can leave reviews about cheating partners

The site, dubbed Ex Boyfriend List , allows women to leave detailed reviews – about former partners to warn other woman

The site is for women to ‘reveal the truth’ about cheating partners and ‘save lives’; Tracy has also dubbed the site as a ‘database designed for an evil ex’

The main purpose of the site is to help women suffer less at the hands of cheating and toxic partners by allowing them to post about former beaus and inquire about new partners

‘We all go through that bad breakup, and we just need a space to share our feelings,’ Tracy, who is senior editor at Girl Power Girl Strong, a blog about relationships and issues pertaining gender equality said.

‘We all go through that bad breakup, and we just need a space to share our feelings.

‘I started the website when a family member was going through a divorce.

‘I’ve also experienced my own bad breakup, and I was left heartbroken, I just wanted a place to share my story.

‘It was a really ugly end to our relationship. I had been cheated on.

‘It was the most traumatizing experience of my life because I had been lied to this entire time.’

Tracy also claims her ex kept the money she paid him for rent, which subsequently saw her kicked out of her flat.

She said: ‘Each month, I gave him my portion of the rent, but it turned out he was keeping it all to himself and not paying the landlord.

‘I ended up getting kicked out, I was devastated.

On the website, the women must abide to certain rules and aren’t allowed to share their former partner’s personal information, such as their phone number or address

The aim of the page is to give women a space to vent about their feelings and deter any unfortunate souls who may be scheduling their next date

‘Being that traumatized, I just needed a place to express myself and tell others who understood me.

‘I started the ex-boyfriend list back in 2008, and it really took off – so many girls had similar stories that they were keen to share.

‘Other women would add their stories one by one, and the next thing they knew, their truth was out there.’

And the women certainly aren’t holding back in their reviews in the site that dubbed itself ‘a database designed for an evil ex.’

One woman describes a former partner who lives in Vancouver, who she claims is a serial cheater – and is also ‘really bad in bed’.

She wrote: ‘He is my ex-boyfriend, and he is a cheater, he will cheat on you, a habitual cheater.

‘He is also, in my opinion, really bad in bed, never had it so bad as I did when dating this guy.

‘Just avoid dating him, he isn’t worth your time, trust me.’

Another woman exposed both an ex and former friend from Nebraska, who allegedly slept together – but apparently, he later cheated on her friend, too.

She wrote: ‘Cheated on me with my best friend. But I’m happy to say he ended up cheating on her too with his neighbor. Once a cheater, always a cheater.’

Woman have used the site to vent about their ‘abusive’ partners with many of them calling out ‘threatening’ behavior and claiming they’re former beaus have cheated multiple times

Another woman warns others to avoid a man from Florida who is ’emotionally immature’.

She wrote: ‘Emotionally immature, ”nice guy,” deep dark hole need for attention from other women, voracious flirt, waster of time.’

Meanwhile, a fourth user simply shared her general opinion on men, saying: ‘Any man who SAYS he’s ”mr perfect” should be avoided…. they shouldn’t have to say it; if they are, you know by their action.’

Tracy is extremely proud of her work and believes that her site is a safe space for women to support each other.

‘We’ve all been through a bad breakup, and I’m happy to provide women a place to vent about things that went wrong in their relationship.’

However, users have to abide by certain rules to keep the site running smoothly.

She added: ‘You share his name and where he is from – there are no contact details posted, and this is crossing a line.’

The site mirrors trending Facebook groups known as ‘Are We Dating The Same Guy?‘ where woman warn each other about cheating and toxic partners through posting a photo of a man they have either dated or have encountered on dating apps.

Woman also use the group to inquire about men they’re newly dating and question if any other woman have have encountered them.

And just like Tracy’s site, the Facebook group, which is available in every state, has rules the woman must abide too.

According to the New York City Facebook group, the page doesn’t tolerate bullying and doesn’t allow anyone in the group to show those outside of the group any of the information, meaning there is a ‘zero tolerance for taking screenshots of group posts or comments.’

And while both Tracy’s site and Facebook groups are helping women feel empowered and helping them to avoid possibly manipulative men, some men have taken offense at being outed.

Tracy is extremely proud of her work and believes that her site is a safe space for women to support each other; however many men have been offended by the site and complained to her

Although men may object to these sites, Tracy claims that her work has helped save women by warning them about ‘pathetic’ and ‘fake’ men, advising them to stay away from bad situations

Tracy noted: ‘It’s good to get your anger out by posting on the site, but I have had some men contact me claiming that some statements on the site were not true.

‘It’s hard to prove either way, but I wanted to create a space where women can share their stories.’

Although men may object to these sites, Tracy claims that her work has helped save women from bad situations.

She said: ‘Somebody once posted about a guy cheating on his wife with a 19-year-old girl.

‘He had also allegedly taken photos of his wife in her sleep.

‘A girl contacted me saying that she knew the man and was dating him.

‘She was then very worried and woke up to him taking pictures of her.

‘Understandably, she freaked out but was glad it stopped before going too far.

‘It’s such a small world, but it’s good to see women helping each other out in that way.’
