In the video, which was shared on Instagram where she boasts more than 3,000 followers, she said: “If your husband is struggling with pornography and you are trying really hard to trust him again, but it’s just not working.

“I want to give you a clue as to what might be the problem. This is something that I did for years. When my husband struggled with pornography, I tried to convince myself that I trusted my husband.

“Here’s the problem with that. When you tried to think your way out of how you feel, it’s impossible to do so.

“Even though I could logic my way through it, I could say all the reasons why I should trust him in all the ways that I did. How he was a great dad and a wonderful provider, and all of these amazing ways.

“He hadn’t relapsed in so long and he was being honest with me now, and I could logically list out all the reasons why I should trust him, and yet I didn’t feel like I did.

“That’s one of the biggest mistakes that I see women make, is that they try to think their way out of how they’re feeling. The first step is always just to accept how you’re feeling.
