Messi and Mbappe combine for PSG goal gobsmacked fans say is ‘pure filth’

Footballing superstar Lionel Messi combined with wantaway PSG starlet Kylian Mbappe to net for the French side on Friday evening.

The two stars strung together a move that left fans with their jaws on the floor and the AC Ajaccio defence frozen. Messi had done the bulk of the work as he shimmied past defenders before laying the ball off to Mbappe.

The young Frenchman just to had to flick the ball in the direction of Messi, who eased the ball past the keeper to round off the goal. And football fans can’t get enough of the strike on social media.

One fan said: “It still ain’t really hit me that they’re playing for the same team!”

“How can people see Messi do stuff like this regularly and claim Ronaldo is better,” a second added. While a third added: “I honestly don’t understand how you can watch this and not think Messi is the best to have ever played the game. The greatest of all time!”

And a fourth tweeted: “No ‘farmers league’ shouts please, this is an absolutely world-class goal anywhere in the world. Messi and Mbappe. Ridiculous!”
