26-year-old Pavard possesses a lot of experience and is also capable of playing at the highest level for several years to come.
Since joining Bayern in 2019 he has won the Champions League, three Bundesliga titles and the DFB-Pokal.
Pavard has also been capped by France on 46 occasions and has a reputation for being a dependable performer.
Losing Pavard would be a source of frustration for Bayern, but Barcelona are determined to take advantage of the situation.
If a move for Pavard doesn’t materialise, then Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot could be an alternative option.
