A David Beckham lookalike is being hunted by police after a builders’ merchant theft.
Hertfordshire police tweeted a CCTV image of the man who is suspected of lifting items from a shop in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, on October 21.
Police wrote: ‘Do you recognise this man? He could help with our inquiries following a theft from a builders’ merchants in #BishopsStortford.
‘On Friday 21 October, building materials were stolen from the shop.
‘If you have any info, please email [email protected] quoting 41/85532/22.’

A Beckham lookalike was mercilessly mocked by This Morning viewers in 2018.
Andy Harmer runs his own celebrity lookalike agency and also appears in the Channel 4 documentary series, Lookalikes.
But his appearance on the daytime show left viewers unconvinced, with some urging him to quit his day job because he ‘looks nothing like’ the former England captain – including one who tweeted: ‘If he’s David Beckham I’m Posh!’
