F1 legend put his stunning model WAG on sex ban before championship decider at Brazil GP

Formula One legend Jenson Button put his stunning model WAG on a sex ban before his championship-deciding race at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Driving for Brawn GP, Button won the sole world title of his 17-year career in 2009, finishing the season 11 points clear of nearest challenger Sebastian Vettel. In a bid to improve his chances of securing the Drivers’ Championship, Button banned himself from speaking with his then girlfriend Jessica Michibata ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix in October 2009.

A source from Brawn GP confirmed the existence of the sex ban, explaining via DNA India: “It’s such an important weekend for Jenson.

“He has hundreds of things to do and wants to be able to concentrate on them alone. Jessica normally always travels with him but he has to keep his mind on the job – so to speak.”

Button also attributed his success to the foot massages he would receive from Japanese model Michibata during his title-winning season.

Reflecting on the win in 2021, he credited his car for the victory, revealing: “I think that after my sixth win I thought this is going to be a piece of cake, and that was after seven races.

Jessica Michibata dated Jenson Button for a number of years before they wed in 2014

“I was like ‘guys you’ve built me a monster. And from then on it was really tough, I was like ‘Oh, maybe I shouldn’t have said that!’.”

Button and Michibata went on to tie the knot in 2014 after several years together but they would split just one year later. He is now married to Playboy model Brittny Ward.

The couple wed in March, four years after getting engaged, having been forced to delay their wedding three times due to the Covid pandemic and the births of their two children.
