Pensioner gymnast, 72, is ‘fittest she’s ever been’ and can do the splits

A super fit pensioner said she’s fitter than ever as she often does gymnastics and can even do the splits.

Keiko Guest, 72, is a content creator who works to promote body positivity and shows you can still feel and dress as young as you feel.

She makes TikTok videos which show her practicing acrobatic workouts in a gymnasium, and she’s left people totally mind blown.

In one video, Keiko captioned the post: “Need to get working at 72.”

According to The Sun US, she took to the gymnasium as the motivational song “This is Me” from the film The Greatest Showman played in the background.

Viewers are able to see Keiko hold onto and hang below double circle rings, or still rings, which are often used by gymnasts.



She’s proving that age is just a number with her impressive videos

The super fit woman is seen swinging forwards and backwards before gaining enough strength to completely lift her bodyweight so her legs are able to stretch above her head.

You can see her hang upside down as her legs move into a wide V position.

Social media users able to see her move to the lyrics: “I am brave, I am bruised, I am who I’m meant to be, this is me.”

Keiko then brings her legs together before opening them into a split position between the rings.

Then she pulls her knees together again before switching into another split but this time, she puts the other leg in front.

The videos left people amazed, and totally in awe of the pensioner, who looks incredible and is fit as a fiddle.

“Bravo! Wow! Blessings,” one person wrote.

Another commented: “You are brave & strong & just amazing.”

Meanwhile, another shocked viewer said: “Holy cr*p! You are so awesome!!! You are so beautiful!!!”

She’s been dubbed an “inspiration” by many since she shared the video, and people have been quick to say they think age is just a number.

One person asked Keiko if she had always been into fitness, and she said: “I am the accumulation of a lifetime of pursuing different disciplines.

“I’m the MOST I’ve ever been. Living my best life.”

She later posted another video which showed Keiko hanging from another wooden ring.

It showed her spinning and lifting her body weight once more, and she was able to put her legs above her head.

The amazing pensioner put one knee through the ring, and pointed her other leg before she placed both knees through it.

She later let go of both hands until she was completely upside down, and spinning in the air.

“Try not to get ill like that at 72,” she wrote, proud to have pulled off the routine.
