Tickets for England‘s World Cup clash with France are selling for £10,000 – with desperate fans paying 28 times the face value to watch the game in person. 

England will face the reigning champions in the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup on Saturday night, with the game set to get underway at 7pm UK time. 

Around 9,500 England fans are expected to attend the game at the Al Bayt Stadium and cheer Gareth Southgate‘s side on as they look to secure a place in the semi-finals.

England’s quarter-final clash with France will see some of the biggest names in football go head-to-head.

The Three Lions will be tasked with containing PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, while Les Bleus must deal with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise that fans are desperate to get their hands on tickets to the game on Saturday night.

Nearly 800 tickets have appeared on re-sale sites ahead of the clash in Qatar.

The tickets are being sold for 28 times their face value. A pair of £175 category 2 seats are being sold on Ticombo for a £5,000 each with a £709 booking fee. 

The price covers just the ticket. Travelling fans will need to add the cost of flights and accommodation on top of that.

However, there should be no issues for fans entering the country as they no longer need a match ticket to get the necessary Hayya immigration permit to enter Qatar.
