Becky Lynch talks pain at missing WWE Clash at the Castle with serious shoulder injury
Becky Lynch has spoken of her pain at missing WWE ’s Clash at the Castle early this year – the company’s first UK stadium show in three decades.
Lynch recently made her comeback to WWE after three months out with a separated shoulder.
She arrived on SmackDown to join forces with Bianca Belair’s team at Survivor Series: War Games the following night.

While she’s now very much back in the groove, it seems clear that having to miss the huge Cardiff show back in September – just weeks after her injury at Summerslam – was a big blow.
Over 60,000 WWE fans packed into Principality Stadium to see the company’s long-awaited return to stadium action.
The event was the first of its kind on these shores since the iconic Summerslam 1992, and while Lyncy’s husband Seth Rollins had a starring role on the show as he battled Matt Riddle, Lynch was forced to make do with a watching brief.
The Man said in a WWE interview: “Oh, don’t remind me. It was very hard for me to watch that and to be missing out on it and hearing the crowd and how amazing they were.
“They were freaking amazing. I have faith that there will be more. Many more.”
Talk since Cardiff has been on when UK fans can next expect a major show here, though another smaller-scale live tour for the spring has now been confirmed.
With the possibilities seemingly endless, Lynch added: “Where would I like to take a major stadium show? Ireland. Croke Park. 100% that’s it. No hesitation with that.”
Despite having been back in the saddle for a matter of hours, the 35-year-old wasted no time getting back into the swing of wrestling action upon her return from injury in Boston on November 26th.
As part of an incredible finale to the War Games match, Lynch launched herself from on top of one of the cages and through a table holding Dakota Kai.
“It was both terrifying and painful,” Lynch added. “Even with the nerves, I was like: ‘I want something that people can remember from this match.’
“If I come back then I’ve got to put my body on the line and I can’t half-ass it because then I’m not The Man and I’m not the Becky Lynch that people paid to see.
“I had in my head that I wanted to flatten somebody, flatten some fools with the leg drop through the table.
“When the opportunity came up and it was time to go, well, then there’s nothing left to do but do it.
“You can see even when I’m up there there’s a moment of hesitation where I have a moment with myself. When I landed, of course it was painful, although I think it might have been a little bit more painful for Dakota Kai.”
