Brazil World Cup star stranded on plane for three hours with pregnant fiancee
Brazil and Barcelona ace Raphinha and his pregnant fiancee Taia Rodrigues were stranded on a plane for three hours.
The former Leeds United midfielder was trying to fly from Lisbon to Barcelona to get back in time for the return of La Liga. Raphinha was part of the Brazil side that was knocked out of the World Cup on penalties by Croatia.
Having played in every match for the South American giants, one would forgive Raphinha for not being in the best of moods upon his return from the World Cup. However, tempers would certainly have been raised after his very lengthy delay on the plane.

The 26-year-old will be reporting back to training for Barcelona late as a result of some horrific travel issues. In a story posted on his Instagram account, Raphinha revealed the lengthy delay that caused him and his fiancee to be stranded on the aircraft for hours.
If that was not bad enough, their luggage was also lost by TAP Air Portugal, the airline he used to travel. “I would like to thank TAP for leaving us on the plane for more than an hour,” he furiously wrote on his Instagram story.
“And now they inform us that we are going to be sitting on the plane for another hour without being able to get out, so it’s been two hours on a stopped plane.

“Detail: many people had a layover and could not have lunch. I’m one of those people, and they said they’re not going to give us lunch or anything.
“What a beautiful lack of respect on TAP. Thank you, TAP once again, besides delaying a flight for three hours (sitting inside the plane). They managed to lose two bags.”
The Brazilian and his partner recently revealed they are expecting their first child. He revealed the news in a recent Instagram post alongside the caption “the realisation of another dream in our lives”.
