William ‘deeply hurt’ over Harry after spending ‘life protecting his younger brother’

Prince William has been “deeply hurt” by the allegations made against him by his younger brother Prince Harry, a royal commentator has claimed.

Ahead of the release of his new book Spare’ next week, Harry has filmed two dramatic interviews with ITV and CBS in the United States.

In one, Harry says “they [the Royal Family] feel as though it is better to keep us somehow as the villains” and “have shown absolutely no willingness to reconcile”.

Kinsey Schofield told GB News the Royal Family have indeed tried to fix the frayed relationship.

The Duke claimed in his Netflix docuseries that William broke a promise to him never to leak stories

“Did any of us really think that Harry and Meghan would be invited to the jubilee after the Oprah Winfrey? Did any of us assume that they would have such a prominent role in the Queen’s funeral?” she said.

“You look at those instances – that is an example, that is an action at an attempt of reconciliation.”

It comes after the Duke claimed in his Netflix docuseries that William broke a promise to him never to leak stories or brief against one another.

Schofield said it is “unfortunate” to see Harry attack the brother that always tried to “protect” him.

“It’s so unfortunate because if you’ve studied the Royal Family you know that Prince William has spent the majority of his life protecting his younger brother from his mother’s mistakes, from his father’s mistakes, shielding his eyes and ears because he wanted to protect his heart,” she said.

“He is truly going after the one person in the world that has tried to make his life easier. It’s devastating and it really hurts Prince William.”

Speaking to CBS News’ 60 Minutes host Anderson Cooper, Harry opened up about any potential return to life as a working royal.

“Can you see a day when you would return as a full-time member of the royal family?” asked Anderson.

However, Harry didn’t hesitate as he responded to the question with a stern look across his face he quipped: “No.”

In a dramatic teaser, Harry claimed that his relatives including his dad King Charles and brother Prince William have made no effort to reach out to him to heal their rift.
