Prince Harry claims ‘he found out Queen died online’ and was told ‘don’t bring Meghan’

Prince Harry claims he found out about the late Queen‘s death at the same time we did, looking at news online.

In leaks from his upcoming memoir Spare, the Duke of Sussex also writes that King Charles told him not to bring Meghan Markle to Balmoral, where the Royal Family gathered during Her Majesty’s final hours.

Spare is due to be released on Tuesday (January 10), but a number of revelations have already come to light after it was leaked in Spain.

It comes four months after the Queen’s tragic passing.

Harry claims he found out about the late Queen’s death on the BBC news website

With the Sussexes having moved to California, it was by chance they were in the UK for charity events when it happened.

Members of the Royal Family all headed to Scotland when news broke that she was seriously ill.

In his book, Harry writes that he was thinking of the last time that he was with his grandmother and what they were talking about during the flight north.

As Harry landed, it was then that he went onto the BBC news website where he discovered that the Queen had died.

He was met by Princess Anne and from there went to Balmoral, but he was too late to say goodbye.

“I stayed in one place without moving, gazing at her for a long time, gathered strength and continued going forward,” he writes, according to The Sun.

He added that he “whispered to her that I hoped she was happy and that she was with grandpa”.

Harry went on to mention that, at that final moment, he spoke of his admiration for the Queen.

Harry felt the reasons for not inviting Meghan were ‘disrespectful’

He said he “admired her for having carried out her functions to the end… the Jubilee, welcoming the new Prime Minister”.

Harry also revealed how Charles came to say Meghan should not come, giving reasons which Harry felt were “disrespectful” and did not make sense.

He claims that Charles was repentant and began “stammering”, saying that he didn’t want too many people there and citing the fact Kate Middleton would not be coming.
