Jamie O’Hara has knife pulled on him – but isn’t stabbed because of ‘mistaken identity’
Former Tottenham Hotspur’s star Jamie O’Hara has revealed that he had a knife pulled on him after walking into a shop – but avoided confrontation as he was the “wrong guy”.
O’Hara tweeted: “Just walked into a shop chatting to women on desk, guy comes up behind me goes to stab me. As I turn round he realises I’m not the guy he wants to stab and stops and says I’m sorry I thought you were someone else I was bought to stab u, just walks off and I’m stood like wtf!”
The ex-Spurs man hasn’t disclosed if he’s been to the police over the incident.

O’Hara spent six years at Spurs, where he managed to make 34 appearances – and he found the net twice for the Lilywhites.
However, he spent most of him time out on loan from White Hart Lane, and his final loan to Wolves in 2011 was turned permanent at the end of the season. The Englishman gradually fell down the football pyramid as his playing days came to an end.
He hung up his boots in 2020, after a three year stint with non-league side Billericay Town – where he was briefly their player-manager.
O’Hara recently slammed Spurs’ current regime, and the outspoken pundit lashed out at the quality of their squad and stubbornness of the manager.
However, in a bizarre turn of events, O’Hara then revealed on Twitter Spurs had contacted him about the rant. He tweeted: “Let’s just say Spurs have been on the phone and there not happy about what I’ve had to say.”
