Prince Harry ‘worried’ about one of William’s kids ‘ending up like me, the spare’

Prince Harry attracted the ire of his brother Prince William trying to “fix” the former Duke of Cambridge’s children, after “worrying” that one would “end up like me, the spare”.

Following on from the success of his memoir, Spare, Harry, 38, spoke to The Telegraph and said cryptically “some things that have happened, especially between me and my brother, I just don’t want the world to know”.

However, he did share some intimate details of his relationship with William, 40, and his role as the uncle of the former Duke’s children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, four.

“I know that out of those three children, at least one will end up like me, the spare,” he said.

“And that hurts, it worries me.”

Harry said that the notion has annoyed William, who has told the Duke of Sussex off about it.

“He has made it very clear to me that his kids are not my responsibility,” he said, adding that he’d still like to “fix” things.

“This is not about trying to collapse the monarchy – this is about trying to save them from themselves,” he claimed. “I know that I will get crucified by numerous people saying that.”

It comes as William has vowed to “keep going” in the wake of a brutal series of bombshells – including that the now Prince of Wales “reeked” of rum before his wedding day – delivered by his brother.

Defiant William has since appeared in public, where a pensioner implored the Duke to keep going and that “Scousers love you,” the Liverpool Echo reported.

It is perhaps doubtful that Scousers love the monarchy, but The Prince of Wales could be heard agreeing with the woman to keep on going, replying with: “I will do.”

Daily Star previously reported Harry’s claims that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had “encouraged” the Duke of Sussex to dress as a Nazi for a Halloween party.

Said costume landed the Duke of Sussex in hot water, but he has claimed the costume was encouraged by Will and Kate after they “howled with laughter” at him.

Writing of the incident in his autobiography, Harry recalled the incident: “I phoned Willy and Kate, asked what they thought. Nazi uniform. They both howled.

“Worse than Willy’s leotard outfit! Way more ridiculous! Which, again, was the point.”
