Furious Arsenal fans want Edu sacked as Chelsea hijack £89m deal for Mykhailo Mudryk

A section of Arsenal fans have turned on sporting director Edu after Chelsea agreed a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk for Mykhailo Mudryk after weeks of Gunners interest.

Their London rivals have reached an agreement for the 22-year-old Ukraine international for a fee in the region of £89million with personal terms now being discussed as per Shakhtar president Rinat Akhmetov.

The Gunners were believed to have been put off by the asking price for the prospect despite looking to boost their squad as Mikel Arteta goes in search of Premier League glory – which hasn’t reflected well on Edu.
