Mum-of-three hits back at trolls who accused her of editing weight loss snaps

An influencer is adamant she didn’t manipulate her images – even though people are claiming she edited snaps of herself in her post- pregnancy before and after photos.

Ruby Tuesday Matthews is a mother of three – she has two children with her ex Ryan Heywood – Rocket, five, and Mars, four – and back in September she gave birth to her first child with fiancé Shannan Dodd.

Holiday was born a few months ago, and they were now a family of three.

In the months following the little one’s birth, Ruby has been working with Fitazfk to get active again, and to try and aid her mental health.

She said it was never about changing her appearance – she just wanted to feel healthier in herself.

Some people have claimed she photoshopped the image

Sharing a number of images that showed her before and after journey, she wrote: “I don’t want new mothers to feel pressure to bounce back or look a certain way.

“I suffered so badly with depression and anxiety during this pregnancy, most days I would call up @mr.fitazfk for support (I am so lucky to call him my good mate).

“I honestly hated exercise for years until I met Az.

“I literally showed up every day of this transformation.

“I held myself accountable and I have never felt stronger or more focused!

“I was cleared by my OB I started transform one!

“I’m not going to share the KG I lost because it’s more about how I feel rather than a number.”

But, after the snaps were posted, some people were quick to accuse the social media star, 27, of photoshopping her before image.

One person said: “It’s sooo sad that so many ‘influencers’ edit their photos.”

Another added: “Most of the time all of them do it but this is really an obvious edit fail.

“Keep in mind this isn’t really good for any other Mums who can’t ‘shred’ their weight a few months after birth.”

A third chirped in: “The door girl your busted you photo shopped the first image which is crazy – and that ain’t no towel.”

Meanwhile, someone else said the before photo was “clearly photoshopped” due to the “curve in the door”.

She hit back against claims she had been making changes to her pictures

When the comments started to come in Ruby felt she had no choice but to have her say.

She posted a clip of herself explaining everything on her Instagram story to try and clear a few things up.

In the clip, Ruby said: “I can’t – people think I’ve photoshopped.

“There are towels that hang behind my door 24/7, it’s a white towel.

“I’m not even going to explain myself.

“The funniest part is they don’t think I’ve photoshopped the thinner image of myself – they think I’ve tried to make myself look bigger.”

She also went as far as asking people if they would have the guts to post before and after pictures of themselves at their heaviest, and what they look like after recently giving birth.

Ruby also posted another snap from the same day, which revealed the towel showing slightly behind the door.
