Logan Paul signs contract with UFC alongside Dana White and says ‘I could cry’

Logan Paul has signed a contract to make Prime Hydration the UFC’s official sports drink.

Paul, who has dabbled in exhibition boxing, launched the product alongside fellow YouTuber KSI on January 4 last year. The drink has since taken the world by storm, with shops across the UK selling it for absurd prices.

The 27-year-old took to social media on Monday to tease a new video, which showed snippets of him talking about the UFC and signing a contract with the promotion’s president Dana White looking over his shoulder.

Some fans fell for the bait and assumed Paul would be joining the UFC as a fighter, leaving MMA purists pulling their own hair out. But the American revealed the truth a day later by announcing a sponsorship deal.

“Prime just became the Official Sports Drink of UFC,” Paul’s tweet on Tuesday read. He went on to post another tweet holding a Prime bottle with the UFC logo emblazoned on it with the caption: “I could cry lol @UFC.”

Meanwhile, a statement confirming the partnership read: “We created PRIME to showcase what happens when rivals come together as brothers and business partners to fill the void where great taste meets function.

Logan Paul tweeted “I could cry lol @UFC.”

“We dropped our first product, PRIME Hydration in 2022 and since then, we’ve continued to work countless hours to expand in retailers, reach new markets and formulate new products we know you’ll love.

“We’ve been humbled by the process of creating a real brand and surpassing some of the biggest beverage companies in the world. As underdogs, we always cherish the opportunity to show the world what’s possible. Now that we’re both fighting for the same team, we truly believe the sky is the limit.”
