Tommy Fury moves out of mansion and into ‘hellhole’ as he prepares for Jake Paul

Tommy Fury has moved out of his £3.5m mansion and into a what he’s labelled a “hellhole” apartment as his showdown with Jake Paul draws near.

The British boxer has said goodbye to girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and their newborn baby daughter as he prepares to up the intensity of training ahead of the big fight, which takes place in Saudi Arabia on February 26.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Fury explained his mindset heading into the bout: “I’m a professional athlete, I’m a professional boxer. My job is not to make little sly jokes and comments on Instagram and social media.

“I’m in a training camp. I’m in bed nine o’clock every single night, I’m up 4.30/5am running. Solely focused on this man.

“One man is flying around the globe, coming here to do media stuff going here, there and everywhere and you’ve got one man that’s living in a hellhole. I’ve moved out of my own house, I’m living in a little apartment, I’ve gone back to the dog mindset.”

Fury and Paul are set to finally do battle following nearly two years of build. They were initially scheduled to face each other in December 2021, but Fury had to withdraw due to a rib injury he sustained during training.

Their clash was then rescheduled for August 2022, but Fury had to pull out for a second time after being denied entry to the US.

Their rivalry became extra personal last week when Paul insensitively leaked news that Fury and his partner had become parents. The American later apologised, but has continued referencing the 23-year-old’s daughter in an attempt to antagonise him.

The pair came face-to-face for the very first time on Saturday at the Wembley Arena and had to be pulled apart after butting heads during an intense in-ring stare down.
