Arsenal fan Laura Woods teases Spurs supporter saying ‘don’t let it boil your p***’

Arsenal fan Laura Woods cheekily mocked a Tottenham Hotspur supporter who was left fuming at her tweet.

Spurs’ 1-0 win over Manchester City on Sunday was a huge boost to Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions. The defeat for Pep Guardiola’s side meant City remained five points behind the Gunners, having played an extra game.

Football presenter Woods took to Twitter after the match to post a tongue-in-cheek comment, writing: “Always liked Spurs, me,” in reference to Tottenham aiding their north London rivals in their pursuit of a first title in almost 20 years.

The tweet quickly racked up over 7,000 likes and comments from Arsenal supporters and other Woods fanatics. But her joke did not go down well with one Tottenham supporter.

They tweeted in response: “Arsenal ‘super fan’ Laura woods with her weekly ‘cheeky’ comment. This will be a story on the Daily Mail by Tuesday I guarantee.”

But the stunning blonde hit back in her usual light-hearted fashion, tweeting: “Don’t let it boil ya p***, Liam.”

Woods is also known for her back-and-forths with fellow talkSPORT regular Jamie O’Hara, who represented Spurs for six years during his playing career. She regularly shuts down O’Hara on their morning breakfast show and is quick to defend the Gunners when they are put down by rival fans.

O’Hara last month was brutally insulted over his love life by Woods. She responded to his comment about how how happy she was with Arsenal’s performances by saying: “Jamie, is this the happiest you’ve seen a woman for a while?”

But the 36-year-old took the jibe well, bursting out into laughter and saying: “Absolutely!” Before concluding: “We were shocking. Fair play to Arsenal, they look the real deal. They look great.”
