Jake Paul labelled a ‘big stiff sweaty goth’ as Tommy Fury denies being ‘scared’

Jake Paul has been labelled a ‘big stiff sweaty goth’ by Tommy Fury after he accused the English fighter of being too scared to show up to their scheduled press conference.

After a prolonged war of words, the pair will finally go at it in a boxing ring this month when they meet on February 26 in Saudi Arabia. It’s the third time a date has been set for the clash, with Fury withdrawing from the first two, citing illness and injury and then a travel ban to the US.

The unbeaten pro fighters went face to face for the first time last weekend at Wembley Arena last Saturday, ahead of the Artur Beterbiev v Anthony Yarde light heavyweight title fight. The meeting descended into chaos as they hurled taunts at each other, but this week Paul again took aim at Tyson’s younger brother, claiming he’s declined an invite to the launch of the clash in Saudi.

“Tommy Fury is scared,” he tweeted. “Told my team he can’t make the kick-off press conference next week in Saudi Arabia because he needs more time to train. Thought you said you wouldn’t even have to train to fight me? You and your papa scared.”

But Fury responded by saying the media can wait until he’s ready: “The press conference can wait until I get to Saudi Arabia you fool. I’ll be there on the 16th. 3 weeks and it’s over you big stiff sweaty goth.”

The build-up has been predictable volatile, with ‘The Problem Child’ infuriating his rival by seemingly revealing partner Molly-Mae Hague had given birth to a baby girl, before the couple themselves had a chance to do so. Fury’s dad John meanwhile, has warned the American he will leave the ring in a stretcher.

Paul has accused Fury of being ‘scared’

Despite jibes that he’s yet to face a full-time boxer, Paul has undoubtedly surprised people en route to his 6-0 record. His last win came in October, where he sparked out UFC icon Anderson Silva.

The influencer recently at down with reporter Bomani Jones though, and reacted angrily when asked what would happen if Fury prevailed. “I don’t plan on losing you know, I don’t train to lose,” he said. “I feel like that is probably your mindset, you know a lot of people try to project their mindsets.”

When Jones refused to back down and asked how Paul will handle a defeat when someone beats him, he ranted: “Well, they won’t and, I’m going to be honest bro, I don’t know who the f*** you are. My PR team set up this interview.”
