Two cars have crashed through the doors of a regional airport.

The vehicles smashed into the doors of the terminal at Dubbo Airport, in NSW‘s Central West, on Tuesday morning.

The local council said in a statement: ‘Dubbo Regional Council advises the community of an incident at Dubbo Regional Airport this morning.

‘Two vehicles have been used to break the front doors of the airport terminal to gain access to the terminal.

‘Police are on scene working with staff.

‘Flights are not impacted by this incident.’

Passengers have been asked to use an alternative entry.

Daily Mail Australia have contacted police for comment.
