Now search for Nicola Bulley moves to the SEA: Police boats trawl Morecambe Bay after massive hunt for missing mother in river where she walked her dog

The search for missing mother-of-two Nicola Bulley has moved to the sea as police boats trawl Morecambe Bay.

The 45-year-old vanished while walking her dog in St. Michael’s on Wyre in Lanchashire at around 9.20am on January 27.

It comes after extensive searches along the River Wyre by both Lancashire Police and an expert private diving company found no trace of the mortgage adviser.

The focus has now switched to the mouth of the river, Sky News reports, with police suggesting finding Nicola ‘in the open sea becomes more of a possibility’.

Specialist diving units are said to also be searching a 15km stretch of the river between where her phone was found on a bench and down to the bay.
