Nicola Bulley’s heartbroken friends say two weeks since mum vanished has been ‘torture’
Nicola Bulley’s friends have spoken of their heartbreak following the disappearance of the mum-of-two, saying it has been “like torture”.
Ms Bulley, 45, has been missing since Friday, January 27 and was last seen in St Michael’s on Wyre, with police appeals ongoing after two weeks of pleas to “bring Nikki home”.
A friend of the mortgage advisor have since said the search for the mum-of-two has been “like torture” as the local community continue to “raise that profile” of the disappearance.

Emma White spoke of the missing mum, who was last seen out walking the family dog Willow two weeks ago.

Emma, speaking to BBC Radio 4, said that the local community had been “trying to jog anybody’s memory” of information that could help the search, including “dashcam footage of Garstang road”.
She said: “It is quite a key part of the village so people would remember going over it. Did they see anything?
“We’re out with banners, we’ve got placards of Nikki’s face, we’ve got a moving eight-foot LED board with her face on it with the message ‘Bring Nikki home’.
“We just need Nikki home for her two beautiful little girls who need their mummy.”

The impassioned pal added that the search, which officers and experts have conducted in the River Wyre for the last two weeks, was described as “like torture” by Emma.
She added: “It is just a rollercoaster, it is almost like torture — the despair, the unimaginable frustration in the sense that everyone has come together, working so hard: the police, the community, people on the ground.
“You expect to be rewarded for when you put hard work in, so we just need something, anything, a piece of information that can lead us down a different inquiry.”
Searches are ongoing for Nicola, with her partner Paul Ansell previously describing that the family are in a “perpetual hell” as they wait for updates.
