Nicola Bulley’s partner makes heartfelt plea as he tells missing mum to ‘just come home’
The partner of Nicola Bulley has made an emotional plea for the missing mum-of-two to “just come home”.
Paul Ansell, who is the father of Nicola’s two daughters, also said “we’re never gonna be the same until she is back” during a Channel 5 programme about her disappearance that was aired at 9pm on Friday (February 10).
Presenter Dan Walker asked Paul what he would say to Nicola if she was watching him on TV and he replied by sending her the following message: “I just (would say), how much I love her. How much us as a family love her and need her.

“How well thought of, how much our friends love her, and need her back. And we are never, we’re never gonna be the same until, until she is back. Just come home.”
Paul had earlier declared on the show that he is now “100% convinced” that the explanation for Nicola’s disappearance on January 27 does not lie in the River Wyre that she was last seen walking the family pet dog Willow along.
Her mobile phone was found on a bench on the river bank with Willow close by, unusually without her harness on.
Extensive searches of the river have since been carried out but Paul wants the police to focus on other lines of inquiry, saying: “Personally, I am 100% convinced it’s not the river. That’s my opinion because people don’t just vanish into thin air. It’s absolutely impossible.

“So something has happened. Something has happened.
“Find out what it is. Find out what it is.”
Paul also added that he felt somebody “local” must know something about Nicola’s disappearance from the Lancashire village of St Michael’s on Wyre.
“Whatever has happened, in my eyes, has to be somebody who knows the local area,” he reasoned. “The fact that nothing’s been seen or heard, I just truly believe that it’s something in the village.”
