Premier League clubs flog pricey Valentine’s gifts – including signed John Terry boot
Premier League clubs are flogging an array of megabucks Valentine’s Day gifts.
They include signed boots and shirts, decanters, golf bags and even designer watches and cufflinks. Liverpool top the price league table with a signed 22-23 squad framed shirt for a staggering £1,250.
But for fans with smaller budgets a John Barnes framed boot can be snapped up for a more modest £275, or golf cart bag for £200 and decanter and four glasses for £126.

Chelsea are also offering bling gifts for lovers including a signed John Terry framed boot for £500. Table-topping Arsenal fans can gift their loved ones a 9ct gold ring for a hefty £275 or perhaps a gold-plated cannon and chain for £60.
Mancunians are not left out. City fans can pick up their partners a leather smart watch for £150. And United diehards can buy their loved ones Paul Smith themed gifts including men’s cufflinks for £100.

Martyn James, independent consumer champion, said: “You’re only allowed to share your heart with one other thing on Valentine’s Day – and that’s your club! So why not combine the two great loves in your life and say it with footie.”
Some football fans will face a difficult choice between the love for their football team and the love for their partner on Valentine’s Day this year, with a slate of games scheduled for February 14.

Tottenham Hotspur are in action in the Champions League as they travel to AC Milan in the round-of-16, while Bayern Munich face Paris Saint Germain in the city of love.
There are also six games in the Championship, plus a full slate of fixtures in League One and League Two. With so much football on Tuesday evening, it could make for some awkward conversations at home for some couples.
