Tom Skinner sends West Ham message from Dino’s Cafe ahead of Chelsea clash

West Ham lover Tom Skinner sent his side an impassioned message ahead of their clash with Chelsea.

A reinvigorated Chelsea buoyed by £323million worth of January signings travelled to the London Stadium to take on their London rivals on Saturday.

Neither side’s season has gone to plan as of yet. But against the backdrop of his favourite Dino’s Cafe – located in east London’s New Spitalfields Market – former The Apprentice star Skinner turned on the cockney charm to deliver his team a rousing message.

The advert, broadcast by BT Sport ahead of the clash, showed Skinner tucking into some proper east end grub with moments of him sipping tea out of a West Ham mug in-between.

He began by saying: “Now I don’t get nervous, but things are starting to get a little bit shaky,” in a nod to his famous line on the BBC show.

And the cockney businessman even had a Hammers cup of tea

“Business has hardly been booming in east London,” he said, referencing the Hammers’ torrid first half of the season which sees them just one point clear of the relegation zone.

“But tough times don’t last, tough people do. No point crying over spilled tea. Chelsea have done a whole lot of hiring but are still feeling the blues.

“So what better way to smash it out of the park than with a London derby. Time to show them who the absolute governors are. So come on you Irons, they’re going to need us all today. Let’s give it 110%, let’s play a blinder. BOSH.”
