Man Utd now pampering Women’s team stars – from tuning TVs to paying gas bills

Manchester United’s women’s team is on the hunt for a lacky to help new and existing players manage their bills and fan mail.

The player support officer for the ladies first team will also find cars, houses and set up bank accounts for the stars who now earn up to £300,000-a-year.

The club’s says its ideal candidate would be ‘trustworthy,’ has ‘integrity’ and will not share confidential information.
The job advert reads: “At Man United our aim is to Win the United Way – and the quality of our behind-the scenes team sets us apart from the competition.

“Our people are as committed to the success of the company as the players are to winning trophies. We offer a unique and exciting working environment, excellent training, with recognition and rewards for the part each individual plays.

“The Purpose: to provide robust, efficient and professional support to the Women’s First Team which ensures first class service and a high level of confidentiality.”

It added the officer would also help players “settle into the club quickly” by supporting visa applications, arranging NI numbers and book them English language lessons.

The players will soon have someone who can solve day-to-day problems around the house for them

The person recruited to help the Women’s Super League stars will also be required to help them not to run up speeding and parking fines by arranging for them to learn basic UK driving laws.

The would-be executive would also be required to work with the women’s department and club staff to support the players education and mental health. The club is also looking for someone who can develop relationships with players’, parents and their representatives.

They would also help coordinate relocation of new players, such as transferring their personal belongings and finding them transport. They would also help the lease or buy a vehicle and get insurance for it, plus apply for valid driving license.
