Miss BumBum icon Suzy Cortez rages at Barcelona’s ‘lack of respect’ to Lionel Messi
Miss BumBum icon Suzy Cortez raged at Barcelona‘s “lack of respect” for Lionel Messi after their Europa League exit.
The La Liga side were dumped out of Europe yesterday (February 23) by Manchester United, who won 2-1 on the night to claim a 4-3 aggregate victory. And Cortez, who won Brazil’s MissBumBum pageant in 2015, singled out one player in particular.
She was fuming with 20-year-old winger Ansu Fati, who took Messi’s No.10 following his departure to PSG in the summer of 2021. He’s struggled to find form since then and has suffered several injuries.

As such, Barca boss Xavi gave him just 15 minutes off the bench at Old Trafford – and Cortez wasn’t happy with his cameo. Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “What an insult to football.
“What a lack of respect for Lionel #Messi and for @FCBarcelona. For dignity, the overrated Ansu Fati should throw the number of the best player in history and wear another number. I feel ashamed of Barca 2023. #ViscaBarca.”

She then added in a separate tweet: “I hope they don’t come up with a story of racism because I already posted that Vini Jr should wear Real’s 7.”
Cortez fell in love with Messi when he was tearing it up for Barca and has stayed a fan of both him and them. She even has a tattoo of him in an intimate place.

Speaking about it last year, she said: “Incredibly, I’ve been through embarrassing situations because of the tattoo. Looking at Messi’s face on my body makes men fail at the right time.
“I already have Messi’s face tattooed under my abdomen, which I did when he won the best player in the world award for the sixth time, and I intend to get the same tattoo he has on his left leg.”
