Katie Price’s ex Kieran Hayler is ‘assisting police with investigation’ after being ‘arrested’

Katie Price‘s former husband Kieran Hayler is assisting ‘police with their investigation’ after having been ‘arrested on suspicion of child neglect and possession of a firearm’, it has emerged.

The stripper and personal trainer, 36, has been taken into Sussex Police custody for questioning, The Mirror reported. 

Kieran does not appear to have formally been charged at this time. But a source close to him – who did not comment on the nature of the allegations – confirmed to MailOnline that he is ‘assisting police with their enquiries’. 

The arrest seemingly occurred at his home in West Sussex. Neighbours told The Sun that cops swarmed on the property after he allegedly used the weapon with ‘intent to cause fear of violence’.

Locals claimed Kieran was arrested around 4pm yesterday in a ‘very dramatic’ scene.

‘A police van and car suddenly turned up on the driveway of their home,’ one neighbour recalled, adding that they later heard the ‘quite frightening’ incident involved a gun.

Sussex Police declined to confirm the allegations against Kieran or whether he was being investigated.

Officers did tell MailOnline, however, that at this time charges have not been filed against anyone bearing his name.

He and Katie, 44, were married for eight years after getting wed in 2013. The couple, who divorced in 2021, had tied the knot after just six-weeks of dating.

They are understood to have had a messy divorce that took about three years to finalise.
