James Maddison has perfect response to Leeds fans chanting ‘w****r, w****r’ at him

James Maddison had the perfect response to hearing Leeds United fans chant “w*****” at him after winning a free-kick.

Maddison had seemingly dived – in the eyes of Leeds fans – to win a free-kick on the edge of the area at Elland Road. However, the Peacocks’ fans were fuming, with Luis Sinisterra down injured at the other end of the pitch.

And Leeds fans serenaded the England star with a chorus of “w*****”, however, Maddison had the perfect response as he raised his hands and appeared to egg on the Elland Road crowd.

“James Maddison having too much fun with the Leeds fans to bother playing football so far,” one fan joked.

“Maddison is the man to unlock Leeds but he’s playing the crowd and not the game,” a second added. And a third tweeted: “Maddison could definitely get work in Leeds this panto season!”

However, another wasn’t so happy: “Maddison would rather laugh and joke with the Leeds fans than put a shift in. P****.” And another agreed: “Maddison seems more interested in jeering the crowd and talking to the ref!”
