This is the moment passengers turned on each other in a foul-mouthed row in front of terrified families on a flight to Gatwick.
Russell Flanders landed in the UK following a family holiday in Faro, Portugal, Friday morning and was waiting with his wife and their two kids to exit the plane at Gatwick airport, the Sun reports.
He claimed they were then ‘trapped’ in their seats for 25 minutes as two fliers blocked the aisle after a fight erupted.
Footage filmed by Mr Russell’s wife shows one passenger shouting: ‘Meet me outside, bro… you’re gonna smash me up, yeah? When did you start talking s***?’, with the other passenger replying: ‘When I asked you not to f***ing bump heads.’
The two fighting passengers hurl insults at each other as Mr Russell’s kids, aged nine and three, watched on ‘terrified by the swearing and threats of violence’.
Footage filmed by Mr Russell’s wife shows one passenger shouting: ‘Meet me outside, bro… you’re gonna smash me up, yeah? When did you start talking s***?’, with the other passenger replying: ‘When I asked you not to f***ing bump heads.’
One of the passengers who is wearing a Nike backpack swore: ‘I’m gonna f*** you up. You’re an Irish boy, get out of my f***ing way. You’re f***ing talking to me bro.’
The Irish passenger replied: ‘Where are you from? I don’t give a s***,’ he shouted, and added: ‘You don’t know who you’re dealing with. You f***ing idiot.’
Sussex Police were called but made no arrests. A spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘We can confirm police carried out a search in the airport for two passengers reported to have been involved in a verbal dispute on board a flight.
‘There was no trace of anyone matching their description and no alleged offences were disclosed.’
The flight was a wetlease service operated by Avion Express on behalf of BA Euroflyer.
British Airways said: ‘We do not tolerate disruptive behaviour of any kind and will always take appropriate action.’
Avion Express and Gatwick Airport have been contacted for comment.
