Arsenal fans have Kroenke theory with billionaire ‘one of best owners in sport’

Arsenal fans have remarkably turned full circle on Stan Kroenke, who is now regarded as one of the best owners in sport.

The Gunners chief, 75, who boasts a wealth of sporting franchises in the States, has enjoyed a trophy-laden 18 months with success in American football, lacrosse, ice hockey and basketball.

The raft of silverware started back in February 2022 when LA Rams ran out winners at Superbowl LVI, recording a 23-20 victory over Cincinnati Bengals.

Colorado duo Mammoth and Avalanche followed that up by claiming the NLL championship and Stanley Cup before the Denver Nuggets bagged the NBA championship for the first time in their 56-year history, downing Miami Heat by 94-89 in game five of the finals.

And despite falling short to Manchester City in the race for the Premier League title, Arsenal fans are growing in confidence that Kroenke’s new-found prosperity can spearhead next season’s assault.

“Stan Kroenke is becoming one of the best owner in sports Rams: Super Bowl Champs, Colorado Mammoth: National Lacrosse League Champs, Colorado Avalanche: Stanley Cup Champs, Denver Nuggets: NBA Champs, Arsenal to win the Premier League Next hopefully,” commented one fortune-favouring Gunners supporter.

“Wow! What an incredible year of success for all of Stan Kroenke’s teams. Here’s to hoping Arsenal can join them next year,” harked another. “Stan Kroenke is having an amazing run with his teams! Here’s to Arsenal taking home the Premier League trophy next! Goooo Gunners,” praised a third. “Now all we need is Arsenal to win the prem and Champions league,” added a fourth.

Completing a full takeover of the club in 2011, Kroenke has often been criticised by north Londoners for a criminal lack of investment with Arsenal failing to lift the Premier League title since their ‘invincibles’ season of 2003/04.

And not all fans were eager to praise the efforts of the Gunners owner: “we’ve got rich owners they don’t just rate football enough to invest in it,” slammed one disgruntled Arsenal supporter.

“Arsenal getting the short end of the stick what a shame,” blasted a second. “He doesn’t care about us some of our fans need to wake up,” jibbed a third.
